What is a smile design?
Smile Design is a digital planning that takes place after a clinical evaluation and exploration. Following that, the most appropriate treatment is defined according to your needs, which can be one of the following:Orofacial Harmonization, Bruxism, Teeth Whitening, Veneers, Crowns, Cleaning, Prosthesis, Resins.
If we don't perform the smile design beforehand, I would be working "blind," which could lead to suboptimal treatment results. It is crucial to conduct a pre-treatment study where we take photographs, study models, and a digital smile design.
This will allow us to preview the results and ensure a natural smile design, as well as determine the price.

Frequently asked questions
-
How do you determine the price of the smile design and dental treatments?
The price of smile design and dental treatments is determined on an individual basis since each patient has unique needs and requirements. During the pre-treatment study and clinical evaluation, the case will be analyzed, and a personalized treatment plan will be provided, allowing us to determine the price based on the procedures required.
-
The smile design treatments are painful?
Most smile design treatments are performed with local anesthesia, which minimizes any discomfort or pain during the procedure. After the treatment, you may experience some temporary sensitivity or mild discomfort, but it typically subsides quickly.
-
How long do the results of the smile design last?
The duration of the results can vary depending on the specific treatment and post-treatment care. For example, dental whitening can last for several months or years with good oral hygiene habits and avoiding foods and beverages that stain the teeth. On the other hand, dental veneers or crowns usually have a longer lifespan but may eventually require replacement due to normal wear and tear.
-
What are the additional benefits of a smile design beyond dental aesthetics?
In addition to improving the aesthetic appearance, a smile design can have functional and health benefits. Some of these benefits include improved dental alignment, better bite and occlusion, correction of malocclusion issues, prevention of excessive dental wear, and increased self-confidence and emotional well-being.
